The Force unveiled at Sierra-at-Tahoe with the Burton Star Wars Experience

What if Yoda could teach your kid to become a Jedi snowboarder? That's the goal of the Star Wars-themed snowboarding school that officially opened at Sierra-at-Tahoe. And folks there say there's nothing else like it in the universe.
"The learning is the way of the Jedi and the idea is they become a young Jedi master at the end," says John Rice, general manager at Sierra-at-Tahoe. That's no small task for these tiny snowboarders. But the force is with them.

About the Burton Star Wars experience at Sierra
The Force is strong at Sierra for Younglings and Padawans this winter in Yoda's Riglet Park at Wild Mountain Children's Center. The Burton Star Wars Experience uses the beloved intergalactic saga to help children ages 3-6 make their first snowboard turns using Burton's innovative Riglet Reel Technology. This singular on-mountain experience filled with visuals from the Star Wars galaxy combines Burton's industry-leading technology with Jedi Master Yoda's teaching methods - movement, navigation and control.
Younglings and Padawans will learn using the ways of the Force through interactive drop in nodes showcasing custom-made wood carvings of R2-D2, C-3P0, Chewbacca and more.
