Lake Tahoe Reggae Festival returns this summer

The popular summer music event, Lake Tahoe Reggae Festival, has officially announced the date for its annual gathering of Reggae music lovers at the lake. It will be held on July 24 at the outdoor arena at Hard Rock Lake Tahoe.

The final touches are being put on a massive artist line-up which will be announced shortly. Past headliners at Lake Tahoe Reggae Festival events have included Ziggy Marley, Damian Marley, Rebelution, Iration, Dirty Heads, Pepper, Matisyahu, Don Carlos, The Green, Jimmy Cliff, Stick Figure, Trevor Hall, The Expendables, and more.

“It will be wonderful to celebrate live music again in a setting that’s unbeatable anywhere in the world”, said Paul Reder, president of PR Entertainment, Inc., who founded the Lake Tahoe Reggae Festival in 2013. “We’ve missed everything about this event, especially the fans since the pandemic started, and can’t wait to see everyone dancing and enjoying the vibes with this year’s incredible headliners in Lake Tahoe.”

California Roots Festival is the largest Reggae festival in the United States for the last decade. Cali Roots as its known has been the bar setter for the American reggae scene and will be bringing its signature vibe to Lake Tahoe.

New for 2022 is a local artist stage, a faux grass floor, beautiful shade structures, and sails, as well as a vendor village, artist paint wall, and great Food & Beverage offerings.

This is an All Ages event. Minors under 13 must be accompanied by an adult.
