Beacons, Bags & Brews outdoor recreation education event in South Lake Tahoe

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. - Join Lake Tahoe Ale Worx, PT Revolution, Tahoe Backcountry Alliance, Sierra Avalanche Center, Tahoe Sports LTD, and TahoeLab on Thursday, February 24 at 6:30 p.m. for a free event on backcountry adventure preparation.

Beacons, Bags & Brews will feature walkthrough interactive stations set up on the patio adjacent to Ale Worx at The Crossing at Tahoe Valley - each set up to help you prepare for Lake Tahoe's backcountry with avalanche education.

Jeremy Benson, author of Backcountry Ski & Snowboard Routes: California will be the guest speaker during the evening, sharing his experiences.
