Lake Village fire displaces residents

STATELINE, Nev. - Firefighters from the Tahoe Douglas Fire Protection District (TDFPD) responded to a home fire on Holly Lane in Lake Village on Monday, February 26. The call came in at 11:25 a.m.

Three engines and two rescue vehicles responded. The teams were able to knock down the fire quickly before it spread to other homes and condominiums. The occupants were able to escape without injuries.

The cause of the fire is under investigation and there is no estimate of damage though the home is not inhabitable at this time.

A mutual aid call was made to South Lake Tahoe Fire Rescue and JPA ambulance to provide coverage as TDFPD worked the fire.
