Lake Tahoe Unified School District's community meeting moved due to snow

Event Date:
March 15, 2023 - 6:00pm

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. - The Lake Tahoe Unified School District (LTUSD) State of the District/LCAP Community Conversation at South Tahoe High School has been rescheduled for Wednesday, March 15 from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

The meeting has been rescheduled due to the heavy snow received over the last several days, giving the public a chance to dig out and get back on the roads.

The format of the meeting will stay the same with LTUSD staff providing an overview of the State of the District, followed by an interactive session with attendees, and then a roundtable panel discussion with community leaders.

To start, Superintendent Dr. Todd Cutler and the LTUSD team will present information on the State of the District specifically discussing the budget, facilities planning, and improved student academic performance.

This will be followed by tabletop conversations where attendees will be asked to discuss and report on what the District is doing well and recommendations for change.

To wrap up, local agency leaders will share their thoughts on their partnership with the District.

Refreshments will be provided as will childcare for elementary-aged children.

South Tahoe High is located at 1735 Lake Tahoe Blvd., South Lake Tahoe. The meeting is in the school's Student Union.
