South Lake Tahoe City Council meeting canceled due to blizzard

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. - Due to the current severe weather conditions, the City of South Lake Tahoe has canceled the Tuesday City Council meeting which was slated for 5:30 p.m.

The agenda items will be moved onto the agenda for its next meeting on March 14. The planned Mayor For The Day events that were to occur Tuesday are being moved to the March 28 evening council meeting.

City Manager Joe Irvin stated, “This decision was made in the interest of public safety. We discourage travel today and tonight given continued blizzard conditions.”
