STATELINE, Nev. - The Douglas County Sheriff's Office (DCSO) is asking for the public's assistance to identify the suspect involved in a theft of a motor vehicle from the parking lot at Harrah's Tahoe. They have exhausted all leads and are hoping the public has information.
During the evening on February 14, 2021, a white male adult is seen on Harrah’s surveillance cameras stealing a man’s jacket after he walked away from his chair. The keys to the man’s vehicle were inside the jacket pocket. A short time later, the suspect male is seen walking through the Harrah’s parking lot. He walks to the victim’s gray Toyota Tacoma (California license plate 7G72891), enters it, and drives away.
The suspect is of average height and build, and was last seen wearing a black beanie, a red and black 49er's jacket, and blue jeans. His face is obscured due to him wearing a face mask.
