Junior umpires needed for 2022 South Tahoe Little League season

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. - Registration is now open for the 2022 Junior Umpire program at South Tahoe National Little League (STNLL). All new and returning umpires must register as soon as possible at southtahoell.com.

STNLL is more than just baseball, they have a phenomenal Jr. Umpire program to teach tomorrow’s leaders about assertiveness, responsibility, decision making, personal responsibility, and integrity.

The Jr. Umpire program is for kids 12 years old and older who will umpire majors and AAA games. Make real-time calls, experience the game in a different way, and add another page to your playbook.

Why STNLL has a Jr. Umpire program:

1) Adults won't do it and there's a critical shortage
2) They need them to start early so they help us for a long, long time (because there's a shortage)
3) This program helps develop young athletes
4) Little League is a recreational baseball program FOR THE KIDS whether they are players or umpires. It's about them, not adults.
