South Lake Tahoe, Douglas County and Tahoe Truckee school updates for Monday

UPDATE: All LTUSD Schools are on a 2 hour delay - some bus routes are inaccessible.

Atrori & Mandan-please go to Pioneer & Mandan

Sonora & Aspen-please go to Wildwood & Aspen
Sonora & Spruce-please go to Wildwood & Birch
Originally the Sonora & Spruce alternate stop was Wildwood & Spruce but now it is Wildwood and Birch.

Monday is now a delayed start for all schools except Truckee Elementary. Today Truckee Elementary is closed due to snow load issues on the roof.

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. - Lake Tahoe Unified School District (LTUSD) is planning on a regular school day for Monday, March 13, as long as there are no dramatic changes. The same goes for Douglas County School District.

Both districts are working with area emergency managers in determining the best operations for the safety of students and staff through the duration of the current storm systems.

LTUSD is making adjustments to bus stops as some are currently inaccessible for buses. The following are the stops and their alternates:
Atrori & Mandan please go to Pioneer & Mandan
Sonora & Aspen please go to Wildwood & Aspen
Sonora & Spruce please go to Wildwood & Spruce

For the Tahoe Truckee Unified School District, Truckee Elementary School will be closed Monday and Tahoe Lake Elementary School will be on a 2-hour delayed start.

No other districts have reported closures as of Sunday night.
