Winter Storm warning in place for Lake Tahoe through Wednesday

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. - The storm door remains wide open this week. A Winter Storm Warning continues for the Lake Tahoe Basin through Wednesday, March 15 at 6 p.m.

Expect lesser snow amounts through Monday than originally forecast, then a fast drop in snow levels late Tuesday into Wednesday. Unsettled and showery
conditions remain possible later this week through next weekend.

The warning: Heavy snow expected. Additional snow accumulations through Monday: 2 to 8 inches below 7000 feet at lake level and around Truckee, with 1 to 2 feet above 7000 feet.
