Dear Pay It Forward Project Fund,
This letter is written on behalf of the students of Mt. Tallac High School as a gesture of our enormous gratitude for your generous donation to them through the purchase of our school vehicle. This car is used daily for rides to employment and internships, mental health appointments, college field trips, and rides to and from our campus on snowy days. By having a school car, students feel seen, heard, and appreciated.
Our students come to us from a multitude of backgrounds but most are facing challenges that have made a traditional school setting difficult. Being able to support them in these ways removes a barrier to their education and future success. We can’t wait to proudly share your message on the side of our car and get on the road!
Thank you for supporting our mission of providing opportunities for students to become contributing citizens!
With gratitude,
Mt Tallac Staff and students
The mission of the Pay it Forward Project is to offer encouragement in our Schools and in our communities, especially to our youth, to make a positive difference in our Communities through volunteerism and assisting others.
It was started by a South Tahoe High alumnus and supports the youth who make a difference through scholarships, projects and is now the supporter of Earth Day in South Lake Tahoe.
