South Tahoe High's sports medicine students place high in national competition

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. - South Tahoe High School's (STHS) Sports Medicine students attended the National High School Sports Medicine Competition in Los Angeles last weekend and came home with several trophies.
As a team, STHS placed third out of over 40 schools and Rossi Bonev’s individual score placed her fifth out of over 600 students. The Tahoe students also participated in a Sports Med Jeopardy contest, placing third overall!
"This was a great opportunity for students to showcase their knowledge and skills in a wide variety of sports medicine topics they’ve gained through their years in the Sports Medicine Pathway," said Isaiah Tannaci, the STHS Sports Medicine coordinator and CTE department chair.
