Cram-a-Cruiser with food for South Lake Tahoe kids at Bread and Broth 4 Kids event

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. - Bread & Broth 4 Kids (BB4K) needs your help in feeding children in South Lake Tahoe. Each week the group packs 150 bags of weekend food for children in the Lake Tahoe Unified School District. The food insecure kids get meals at school free of charge, but those are not available over the weekend, holidays, or summer and that is where BB4K comes in to help.
BB4K is holding its popular Cram-A-Cruiser on Saturday, May 6 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Grocery Outlet, 2358 Lake Tahoe Blvd., South Lake Tahoe. South Lake Tahoe Police Department will be bringing a police cruiser and the community can help fill it with food from the BB4K list:
Non-perishable food including canned soup, canned ravioli and spaghetti, canned tuna and chicken, beef jerky, small cups of macaroni and cheese, packets of instant oatmeal, granola bars, fruit cups, small boxes of raisins, nuts, crackers with cheese, peanut butter, small cans of veggies. All in single servings, please, and peanut butter and jelly in plastic containers. Cereal is okay too.
