South Lake Tahoe Special Olympic swimming team seeks volunteers

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. - The search is on for volunteers who love to be paid in smiles and hugs while making a difference in a person's life. The local Special Olympic group seeks volunteers to work with athletes in their swim program. You don't have to be a "seasoned" coach, but you do need to enjoy working with this population. This is an "in-the-pool" position.

The swim program is every Friday from 3 p.m. - 4 p.m. at the South Lake Tahoe Recreation Center. The last practice will be on May 17 and the regional competition is on May 18. If you have any questions please call Bonnie Fiegel at (530) 545-0773.
