COVID-19 case update for Lake Tahoe area counties

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. - El Dorado County is reporting 61 more residents have tested positive for COVID-19 since Friday: 2 from Pollock Pines/Camino/Kyburz, 16 in El Dorado Hills, 2 in Diamond Springs/El Dorado, 3 in North County, 10 in Greater Placerville, 11 in Cameron Park/Shingle Springs/Rescue, 1 in South County, 16 in Lake Tahoe region. Awaiting address confirmation from today's count: 0. Total now awaiting address confirmation: 94.

Of those new cases, 14 are under the age of 18, 33 are age 18-49, 8 are aged 50-64, and 6 aged 65 or older. Awaiting age confirmation from today's count: 0. Total birthdate unknown to date: 11.

There have been another 33 assumed recoveries with 393 assumed active cases.

There have been an additional 2,375 negative results received.

There are currently 5 COVID-19 patient hospitalized and 1 of those is in the ICU. As of today, Barton has 0 patients hospitalized with COVID-19 in the ICU; all 5 are hospitalized due to COVID-19 at Marshall with 1 of them in the ICU. There is 1 suspected COVID-positive patients in the ICU at Marshall. Also according to the State website, Barton has 2 available ICU beds, Marshall 0.

There has been 0 additional deaths recorded, the total for El Dorado County residents dying from COVID-19 is 108.

With respect to the tier assignment measures (and which color tiers those numbers fall in):
