COVID-19 case update for Lake Tahoe area counties

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. - El Dorado County is reporting 21 more residents have tested positive for COVID-19 since yesterday: 0 from Pollock Pines/Camino/Kyburz, 10 in El Dorado Hills, 0 in Diamond Springs/El Dorado, 2 in North County, 1 in Greater Placerville, 4 in Cameron Park/Shingle Springs/Rescue, 0 in South County 5 in Lake Tahoe region. Awaiting address confirmation from today's count: -1. Total now awaiting address confirmation: 93.
Of those new cases, 4 are under the age of 18, 13 are age 18-49, 4 are aged 50-64, and 0 aged 65 or older. Awaiting age confirmation from today's count: 0. Total birthdate unknown to date: 11.
There have been another 13 assumed recoveries with 401 assumed active cases.
There have been an additional 342 negative results received.
There are currently 6 COVID-19 patient hospitalized and 1 of those is in the ICU. As of today, Barton has 0 patients hospitalized with COVID-19 in the ICU; all 6 are hospitalized due to COVID-19 at Marshall with 1 of them in the ICU. There is 1 suspected COVID-positive patients in the ICU at Marshall. Also according to the State website, Barton has 4 available ICU beds, Marshall 4.
There has been 0 additional deaths recorded, the total for El Dorado County residents dying from COVID-19 is 108.
