Sacramento Kings' mascot Slamson hits the slopes at Sugar Bowl

With a break in the action on the courts, the Sacramento Kings' mascot "Slamson" hit the slopes at Sugar Bowl Resort on Saturday. He got in some spring skiing as the resort hosted its annual season-ending party.

There was the Sugar Bowl Tiki Pond Skim which included costumed skiers and riders attempting to cross the pond between the Disney and Nob Hill chairlifts near the Village Lodge base area, with live music, a pop-up tiki bar, and a snow beach viewing area to watch the action.

After receiving 66 feet of snow this winter, Sugar Bowl will be open tomorrow, then reopen for an additional “Encore Weekend” on April 29 & 30, 2023 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. both days.

Game 4 between the Kings and the Warriors is on Sunday at 12:30 p.m. from San Francisco.
