SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. - The next South Lake Tahoe Library program is for all budding authors, no matter what stage in the game you are. Local authors from Tahoe Writers Works will share their writing experiences, from creating and crafting an engaging story to the process of publishing and promotion.

Bruce Rettig, author of the award-winning book, “Refraction: An Arctic Memoir,” will provide an overview of Tahoe Writers Works, his writing, and introduce the other authors. The panel will include Bridey Thelen Heidel who recently presented on TedX and is the author of her soon-to-be-released memoir, “Bright Eyes”; Lisa Michelle, an award-winning screenwriter, bestselling author, filmmaker, and author of four books including her most recent, “The Lonesome Dark”; and M.C. Behm, who writes the Tahoe Dad column for the Reno Gazette Journal and Tahoe Mountain News, and is the author of “The Elixir of Yosemite,” and the children's book, "Once Upon a Quarantine."

Anyone interested in furthering their writing pursuits and knowing more about TWW, or wanting to learn more about the writing and publishing process, will appreciate the insights from these local authors.
