Farmer's Market in South Lake Tahoe and Meyers begin their seasons in June

MEYERS, Calif. - The Meyers Mountain Market is opening for the season on Wednesday, June 7. The market is held in Tahoe Paradise Park on the banks of the Upper Truckee River. It is held on Wednesdays until September 13 from 3 p.m.-7:30 p.m., rain or shine.

Vendors offer fresh and locally grown fruits, vegetables, meat, eggs & honey. Fresh-baked goods, flowers, and arts & crafts are also available for purchase. Enjoy dinner at one of the food trucks and eat under the pine trees, on the sandy shore of Lake Baron, or on the beautiful banks of the river.

Established as a non-profit organization, SunSnow Event Co. (DBA, Meyers Mountain Market) is a CA Certified Farmers Market (CFM). More information can be found on their website https://www.meyersmtnmarket.org/.

There are also two other local farmer's markets starting in June.

The South Lake Tahoe Farmer's Market at the American Legion is on Tuesday mornings starting June 6, and running until October 10. Fresh produce, fruit, food, arts and crafts, and other vendors are on site, 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The American Legion Hall Parking Lot is located at 2732 South Lake Tahoe Blvd (Hwy 50) in South Lake Tahoe.

Ski Run Farmer's Market starts on Friday, June 2. This evening market features up to 40 vendors including local farms, hot food, ice cream, art as well as live music from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. through September.

The market is held right on the street, Ski Run Blvd., with the vendor area blocked off to traffic. They will be expanding by a full block this season.
