Community invited to celebration of Momentum PBS premier

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. - The South Tahoe Association of Realtors welcomes the community to a celebration of Momentum Film on PBS and Momentum Mentors on June 11 at 5:30 p.m. The movie made by and about South Lake Tahoe locals premiers on PBS, and join in the fun!

There will be food, drinks, and a silent auction, with all proceeds going to bring Momentum Mentors to more schools in our community and beyond!

Created by filmmaker Michelle Aguillar, Momentum is about the comeback stories of South Lake Tahoe residents Chris "Coco" Cocores and Ryan Wallace. Behind the vision and lens of Michelle with co-director Lane Power, the compelling stories will captivate the viewer the moment the first sound is heard.

Momentum Mentors is an exciting pilot program that connects youth with mentors. Together students and mentors identify the student’s strengths, passions, and goals. They get powerful habit-stacking tools to reach their goals and every student leaves with a new story about their personal identity and future dreams!
