Tahoe Bike Challenge starts June 1; Lake Tahoe Bicycle Coalition clean-up activities planned

The 16th annual Tahoe Bike Challenge begins June 1 for a full month of biking excitement throughout Lake Tahoe. Hosted by the Tahoe Regional Planning Agency and the Lake Tahoe Bicycle Coalition, the Tahoe Bike Challenge is a basin-wide celebration of biking and friendly competition to see who can record the most rides. Riders will compete for bragging rights and prizes from local businesses.

Register for the Tahoe Bike Challenge online at lovetoride.net/tahoe and participate as an individual, join an existing team, or form your own team of coworkers, friends, classmates, and anyone you like to ride and compete with.

South Shore Bike Path Cleanup
Join us for a Tahoe Bike Challenge kickoff event by cleaning popular sections of bike paths in South Lake Tahoe.

North Shore Clean Up Days
North Lake Tahoe’s 26th Annual Clean Up Days will take place in Kings Beach, Tahoe Vista, Carnelian Bay and Crystal Bay. Over 100 volunteers will take to the streets to pick up trash. Last year, over 2,500 pounds of trash was collected.

Truckee Day
The 18th annual Truckee Day is a great way to show love to the amazing Town of Truckee by rallying the community together to beautify the streets.
