Kudos: Flatstick Pub raises $1,445 for Bread & Broth 4 Kids

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. - During the month of April, Bread & Broth 4 Kids (BB4K) volunteers hosted a booth at Flatstick Pub to raise money for the weekend food bag program. Flatstick donated $1 to the organization for every round of mini golf played and for every beer purchased all day on Sundays during the month. A total of $1,445 was raised during the month.

The BB4K School Weekend Food Bag Program provides seven single-serving meals, fruit, and snacks for food-insecure children in the Lake Tahoe Unified School District each Friday. This gives them much-needed food over the weekend when away from free school lunches.

Bread & Broth thanks not only Flatstick Pub for their generosity in selecting BB4K to participate in their Sunday FUNDay program but also the South Lake Tahoe community and visitors to the area for supporting the B&B organization.
