TWCF is a collective giving circle where members join annually, and their membership fees are consolidated and given out as grants every year to local non-profits. The Angel of Tahoe, Lisa Maloff, matched member donations over the past five years, allowing TWCF to give out $100,000 each of those years.

With the passing of the Angel of a Tahoe, TWCF must find new angels, and so their cabinet rolled out its new Super Sponsor platform at the Gala. For $5,000, a business or family can sponsor an area of need and help Tahoe Women’s Community Fund continue to give out $100,000 or more every year. To meet this goal, over 200 members and ten Super Sponsors are needed.

So far, there are three Super Sponsors: Untethered, Viktoria & Chris McNamara, and The Marcella Foundation.

Anyone is welcome to join. Go to www.tahoewomenscommunityfund.org to become a member and email tahoewomensfund@gmail.com to become a Super Sponsor.

Kudos to the amazing women and men who have been part of the Tahoe Women’s Community Fund over the last eight years - thank you for helping make Tahoe a better place for all of us!
