Highs in the 70s all week long in South Lake Tahoe

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. - The spring rollercoaster on weather at Lake Tahoe is over, for the time being, as the National Weather Service (NWS) in Reno is calling for a calm and sunny week ahead.

Warm and generally dry weather prevails through the week. Above-average temperatures continue, except during mid-week. There are low chances for isolated showers Tuesday for the Sierra, northeast California and far western Nevada.

The South Lake Tahoe forecast from NWS Reno:

Tuesday - Sunny, with a high near 71. Calm wind, becoming west around 5 mph in the afternoon.

Tuesday Night - Mostly clear, with a low of around 41. Southwest wind around 5 mph becoming calm in the evening.

Wednesday - Sunny, with a high near 71. Calm wind, coming from the west around 5 mph in the afternoon.

Wednesday Night - Mostly clear, with a low of around 41. West wind around 5 mph, becoming calm.

Thursday - Sunny, with a high near 75. Calm wind becoming north around 5 mph.

Thursday Night - Clear, with a low of around 43.

Friday - Sunny, with a high near 77.

Friday Night - Clear, with a low of around 44.

Saturday - Sunny, with a high near 76.

Saturday Night - Mostly clear, with a low of around 43.

Sunday - Sunny, with a high near 76.
