Join the National Forest Foundation for their Lake Tahoe Audio Tour launch event

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. - Join the National Forest Foundation (NFF) at their upcoming “Discover Lake Tahoe Audio Tour launch event on June 17 from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Taylor Creek Visitor Center.

During this event, experience the NFF’s Discover Lake Tahoe Audio Tour and celebrate public lands by delving into language, culture, and responsible recreation practices.

This tri-lingual walking audio tour was designed to accompany visitors as they explore the natural and cultural histories that have shaped and been shaped by the landscape of Lake Tahoe and is available for free download in English, Spanish, and the native Washoe language.

Following the event’s theme of “Lake Literacy,” the event day will consist of guided audio tour demonstrations in all three languages, reading circles in all three languages, and attendance from local organizations who will share what they do to make the community more literate about Lake Tahoe.
