Farmer's Market season starts Tuesday in South Lake Tahoe

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. - A sure sign of summer is the reappearance of farmers markets on South Lake Tahoe. They get underway on Tuesday, June 4,2024.
The El Dorado County Certified Market at the American Legion is on Tuesdays until fall from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. There are fresh fruits, vegetables, bread and other culinary treats, meat, honey, flowers and plants, and a variety of things to purchase. The Legion is located at 2732 Lake Tahoe Blvd., South Lak Tahoe.
Meyers Mountain Market, a certified market, is on Wednesdays June 5 - September 11 from 3 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. at Tahoe Paradise Park. Vendors offer fresh and locally grown fruits, vegetables, meat, eggs & honey. Fresh-baked goods, flowers, arts & crafts are also available for purchase. Don’t forget to grab dinner from one of the food trucks. Tahoe Paradise Park is located at 1011 E San Bernardino Ave.
Ski Run Farmer's Market starts on Friday, June 7 from 3 p.m. - 8 p.m. They have fruit and vegetable farms, hot food, ice cream, art, jewelry, live music, face painting, henna, wine and beer specials at the restaurants alongside the market. This year they are expanding a block and is right on Ski Run Blvd. between Larch and Tamaracks streets.
