El Dorado County election results

UPDATE June 9: The El Dorado County Elections Department expects to release updated results in the election on Friday, June 10 by 5 p.m. There were still 22,634 ballots to count as of Thursday morning.
UPDATE 9:00 a.m. Wednesday: There has been an update to the percentages candidates received from the vote count due to the largest number of unqualified write-in votes Registrar of Voters Bill O'Neill has ever seen in El Dorado County. Since there were no qualified write-in candidates, the 4,500 with a write-in became no-votes, and ballots were re-tabulated.
When polls closed at 8 p.m. Tuesday, 6400 mail-in ballots were prepped and ready to be counted. Several thousand ballots were dropped off at Vote Centers which delays tabulation (if voting on Election Day it is suggested to go in and vote in-person).
The next release of vote counts could come as early as the end of the day Wednesday O'Neill said, but most likely it will be the end of the day Thursday, June 9. He estimated there were 10,000 ballots to go, plus any that arrive in the mail that were postmarked Tuesday.
