Learn more about STR 3-cart system during next South Lake Tahoe Library program

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. - Learn everything you need to know about the new South Tahoe Refuse garbage tote program at the next program offered by the South Lake Tahoe Library on June 25 at 5:30 p.m.
Catherine Howells from South Tahoe Refuse will be at the library to give an overview of the plan to transition to the new 3-cart system of collecting garbage, recycling, and yard waste.
She'll explain the new state law that was the impetus for South Tahoe Refuse to make the transition.
The new carts will be arriving soon, and she will go over when and how they will be delivered and when the program is set to begin. There will also be examples of the new carts on display and plenty of time for questions and answers.
All community members are welcome. The library is located at 1000 Rufus Allen Blvd., South Lake Tahoe.
