Mobile walk-in vaccine clinics in South Lake Tahoe

South Lake Tahoe, Calif. - There will be a mobile vaccination clinic in South Lake Tahoe, offering free, walk-up COVID-19 Pfizer vaccinations. People may get their first or second dose at these three clinics:

Wednesday, June 16: Bijou Elementary School, 3501 Spruce Avenue from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Thursday, June 17: Los Mexicanos Restaurant, 3564 Lake Tahoe Blvd. (the corner of US50 and Herbert Avenue by Whole Foods) from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Friday, June 18: City boat parking lot at San Jose Avenue and Harrison Avenue (near Lakeview Commons) from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

The vaccines are funded by the state and operated by SnapNurse, an on-demand nursing agency.

El Dorado County is offering another walk-up clinic in Georgetown on Saturday, June 19 at the town's library from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Moderna and J & J will be offered at that clinic.
