Bijou Golf Course to open with free golf during Community Appreciation Weekend

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. - The City of South Lake Tahoe has announced they will be opening the Bijou Golf Course for the season on Saturday, June 24.

Join them for a weekend of golfing from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The City is hosting a special Community Appreciation Weekend, and, as a token of their gratitude, all fees will be waived for Saturday and Sunday!

Mark your calendars and invite your friends for an unforgettable day on the greens. Experience the beauty of our course, challenge yourself with each swing, and enjoy the camaraderie of fellow golf enthusiasts.

Only walk-up reservations will be available for the free weekend with the last available tee time at 2 p.m. each day.

Normally the fee to play the nine-hole course is $18 for nine holes with an additional nine Holes (all ages/all times) $11.00. Seniors are $16 for the first nine, those 14 and under, $11, and twilight $15.

The Bijou Golf Couse is scheduled to operate Thursdays - Mondays from 8 a.m. - 4 p.m. for the first few weeks. The City is working to hire and train staff as quickly as possible and will be extending operating hours and days as soon as possible.

The course is located at 3464 Fairway Avenue, South Lake Tahoe.
