South Lake Tahoe Shootout brings teams from California, Utah, and Nevada

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. - Action gets started on the basketball courts at South Tahoe High School (STHS) on Thursday, with ten teams from three states meeting for the four-day South Lake Tahoe Shootout.

On Thursday, in the school's Blue Gym, Highland 1 and 2, Woodcreek, Stagg, and Skyline 1 and 2 are meeting up starting at 4 p.m.

Friday's action is in both the Blue Gym and Gold Gym from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.

The South Lake Tahoe teams start action Friday with the first shootout.

The South Lake Tahoe Shootout continues Saturday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. and wraps up Sunday with play from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

David Finnegan, the former STHS Viking head coach is the tourney director, and retired high school and college coach Bob Hawking helps with operations.
