South Lake Tahoe Parks & Recreation unveils new program guide

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. - Some exciting news from the South Lake Tahoe Parks and Recreation Department - a whole catalog of exciting new programs they'll be offering this summer and fall.

The City said they are thrilled to unveil the wide range of new programs that cater to individuals of all ages and abilities.

Here's a sneak peek at what's in store:

Every-Body Yoga
Kiddo Yoga
Baby & Me Yoga
Mini Mountain Movers
Session II Swim Lessons with expanded days and hours (Registration July 8th 8am)
Silver Striders Senior Walking Club (Starting in August)
Aikido (Coming this fall)

Besides classes and other activities that need registration, the guide also includes everything free in the City parks this summer including movie nights at Bijou Community Park on July 12, 19, and 26 in honor of Parks Make Life Better Month, and free Tahoe History Talks on the Beach at Lakeview Commons starting June 25 brought to you by the Lake Tahoe Historical Society.
