Winners announced for South Lake Tahoe 4th of July Parade

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. - The annual South Lake Tahoe 4th of July Parade was another success. The sides of Lake Tahoe Boulevard, Ski Run Blvd, and Al Tahoe were full of holiday revelers of all ages. There were 62 entries in the parade with a total of 450 people participating.

The City of South Lake Tahoe had judges sitting at the grandstand set up at Lakeview Avenue, and the voted on the following awards:

Best of Parade Awards

Best Non-Profit - Soroptimist International of Tahoe Sierra
Runner-up - St. Theresa's Bread & Broth

Best Commercial Entry - Ever After Productions
Runner-up - Aloha Ice Cream

Best Youth Entry - The Studio
Runner-up - Tahoe Elite Cheer Team

Best Classic Auto: 1986 Cadillac Fleetwood (Owner: Nathan Estrada)
Runner Up: Classic 1989 Mercury Grand Marquis (Owner: Christian Castillo)

Anything Goes: Upper Montgomery Estates
Runner Up: USDA Forest Service Lake Tahoe Basin Management Unit
