The 28th annual American Century Championship celebrity golf tournament is launching a new app that will enable users to follow players live throughout this week, July 11-16.
The free app is available for both iPhones and androids and called "American Century Championship."
Users will have access to instant information and breaking news, and they will be able to track the progress of their favorite celebrities, including Justin Timberlake, Charles Barkley and Steph Curry. In addition, fans can text ACC2017 to 74574 to receive opt-in push notifications for real-time information, breaking news, and behind-the-scenes views of the event.
App users will also get updates on the leaderboard, scores, tee times, history and they will also be able to track the celebrities on the course with an interactive course map.
WimZr also has a more social app for the event that gives users opportunities for questions and answers with the golfers, interactions with other attendees and access to a wimZr after-party on Thursday at MontBleu. This app is also available on both Google Play and the Apple Store.
