Round One of 35th annual American Century Championship on Friday at Edgewood

LAKE TAHOE, Nev. - Friday begins the 35th annual American Century Championship at Edgewood Tahoe. Wednesday and Thursday were full of Pro-Am tournaments, practice, and a lot of fun for the fans, and the players.

On Thursday, the Korbel Long Drive Contest was held, with recently retired Jason Kelce recording the longest drive on the par-5 15th hole. Kelce hit the ball 322 years and for his efforts won $5,000 to go toward a charity of his choice.

Korbel continues the fun on Friday when they host the annual Hole-in-One Contest on the 3-par 17th hole. Ten players and one Korbel distributor will each have two chances from the 17th tee to get a hole-in-one. $250,000 is on the line and action starts at the end of the regular tournament play.
