Friends of the Library Book Sale

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. - Bring your family and friends to the South Lake Tahoe Library on Saturday, July 15 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. for the Friends of the Library Used Book Sale.

Find the perfect summer reading material! Generous donations from the community have provided an assortment of fiction, mysteries, children's books, non-fiction on so many different subjects, and large beautiful books for display.

A members-only preview will take place from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. before the sale and a drawing for a free bag of books will be held just before 10 a.m. Not a member? You can join for $10 for an individual or $20 for a family at the membership table in the lobby during the preview.

They have so many children's books that they will also be giving some away at the cashier's table. A full bag of books costs $10 (cash only) and for individual books, make a great deal with the cashier. All of the books need new homes and all proceeds benefit the South Lake Tahoe Library.

The library is located at 1000 Rufus Allen Blvd.
