Nicholas Price DeFressine ~ February 13, 1993 - April 18, 2023

Our family is sad to share the passing of Nicholas (Nick) Price DeFressine. It has taken some time for us to come to grips with our loss.

Nicholas is survived by his father Richard (Rick), his mother Krista, and his sister Miranda. Nick has a huge extended family as well.

Nick was raised in South Lake Tahoe. He went to Meyers Elementary, South Tahoe Middle School and South Tahoe High School.

Nick loved to be outdoors. He tried team sports when he was young. Softball, Soccer, Karate - just not his thing. Nick loved snowboarding, skiing, biking, hiking around many lakes and rivers he came across, searching for gold, and sitting at the top of a cliff or mountain, but by far his favorite was skateboarding. He loved to skate.

Nick was a talented electrician. Nick’s cousin Dusty Aros started Nick off in the electrical profession. Nick then went on to learn more about the construction field through Joe Garcia. Nick went back to electrical work after a while. Nick said to me, “Mom, the electrical work just clicks with me. I somehow can always figure it out. It makes sense and I enjoy it.” I believe he was a valued employee of the many companies he worked for.

Nick will be missed in so many ways that cannot be easily put into words. He touched the hearts of many people - family, friends, and co-workers. He was such a sweet, funny, goofy, helpful, and good-hearted person. Our loss is heaven's gain.

The family will be gathering at Tahoe Paradise Park on August 5, 2023, around 2 p.m. (BYOB, picnic and chairs).
