Monthly gaming report: Lake Tahoe casinos "win" figure was $21.4M in June

Nevada’s nonrestricted gaming licensees reported a total “gaming win” of $1,286,686,312 for June 2024, according to the Nevada Gaming Control Board's latest monthly report. This amounts to a 3.25 percent increase compared to the same month a year ago when licensees reported a gaming win of $1,246,020,144. For the fiscal year, the gaming win has increased by 4.36 percent with $15,765,165,340 in "win".

The "gaming win" represents the computed income of casinos before business expenses and taxes.

For Lake Tahoe's south shore, the "win" revenue was $19,286,603 in June, down 12.59 percent from June 2023's $22,064,264. For its fiscal year, revenue win is down by 2.44 percent as compared to the previous period. The South Shore fiscal year win was $245,885,579, down 2.23 percent.

On the south shore, $4,646,000 came from table games and $14,640,000 from slots.

Carson Valley area casinos reported a $10,891,533 gaming win, down 5.21 percent. On the North Shore, the reported gaming win of $2,115,268 was down 3.14 percent.

Casinos in Reno, Sparks, and other areas of Washoe County saw gaming-related revenue decrease over the last year collectively by 7.6 percent with a "win" of $87,206,976.

Las Vegas/Clark County casinos had a "win" of $1,119,237,057, up 4.59 percent over the same month last year.

For the fiscal year, the State of Nevada has collected $1,000,365,249 in percentage fees.
