Live at Lakeview celebrates 100th free concert in South Lake Tahoe

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. - After a decade of bringing free live music to the community, Live at Lakeview celebrates the 100th concert on Thursday, August 10.

“Bringing our community together every Thursday for the last decade has been such an honor,” states Rob Giustina of On Course Events “But none of these 100 shows would have been possible without the support of our event sponsors, vendors, and staff who all come together to make it happen!”

This monumental event will feature special performances from RonKat Spearman’s Katdelic and CB Radio, presented by Visit Lake Tahoe. RonKat Spearman is an inspiringly talented musician who has dedicated himself to music and performing. He spent a decade touring with George Clinton’s Parliament Funkadelic and through his unforgettable live performances and impeccable studio recordings, he’s honed his technical capabilities and sound to form one unstoppable force in the music world. This performance will be a real treat and his first in South Lake Tahoe!

Local artists, CB Radio will open up the 100th free concert at 4:30 pm and take you on a musical sampling from New Orleans to Tahoe in a single afternoon.

Many of the individuals, event partners, vendors, and staff who have been an instrumental part of this series over the last decade will be honored after the opening act concludes.

Over the last decade, Live at Lakeview has been a staple of the South Lake Tahoe community, providing free weekly concerts from 4:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. at Lakeview Commons.

Every Thursday through August 31 the event hosts live music and art on the beach, along with a variety of local merchants and delicious food options plus amphitheater-style seating and breathtaking views of Lake Tahoe from the beer garden.

Local beer will be served on tap inside the beer & wine garden, courtesy of South of North Brewing Company. Proceeds from this year’s beer & wine garden will support the Lake Tahoe Bicycle Coalition this year, helping Tahoe to become more bicycle-friendly.

Parking is limited around the venue; however, a complimentary bike valet service is offered every week. Biking or lime scootering (with proper lighting), as well as ride-share services, carpooling, and public transportation, are all strongly encouraged. Additional parking is
available at the South Lake Tahoe Recreation Center (1180 Rufus Allen Blvd.)
