TERC hosting multicultural Full Steam Ahead event at Kings Beach

Full STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) Ahead event is a free, bilingual (Spanish + English) community, family-friendly event at Tahoe Backyard, Kings Beach. This event merges science and art with interactive stations designed to inspire creativity and critical thinking in the participants of all ages and bring attention to the beauty of science.

Unleash your inner scientist and artist at the Full STEAM Ahead event on Friday, August 18 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Tahoe Backyard, 8428 Trout Ave., Kings Beach.

Explore the limitless possibilities of art and the wonders of science through hands-on interactive activities.

Celebrate the beauty of language diversity with learning opportunities in English and Spanish.

Discover the physics of beer pong with Bear Belly Brewing (for those 21+).

Indulge in delicious food from El Buen Zason food truck.

This event is for all ages to dive into the world of critical thinking and creativity. We hope to see you there!

They are also seeking enthusiastic volunteers to help with event set up, take down, and at science and art stations. English-speaking, Spanish-speaking, or bilingual - all are welcome to volunteer! This event is hosted by TERC, Chickadee Art Collective, Bear Belly Brewing, Tahoe Backyard, and many more. All activity stations will have instruction and signs in both English and Spanish and a Spanish interpreter will be present at most tables.
