El Dorado Community Foundation offers financial help to Crozier Fire evacuees

EL DORADO COUNTY, Calif. - The El Dorado Community Foundation (EDCF) has started an emergency response fund for those evacuated from the Crozier Fire. In the event of a community emergency causing mandatory evacuations within El Dorado County, EDCF has been opening applications for possible assistance within 24-72 hours of the onset of mandatory evacuations.

Just as they did during the Caldor Fire, EDCF provides assistance for individuals and families under mandatory evacuation orders. Currently, they are offering $300 gift cards to help evacuees during these tough times.

There is a donation link for those wishing to help fund the gift cards here:

There was such a large response to those seeking financial help that EDCF had to temporarily close down, but it will be up again soon. So far they have allocated over $100,000 to residents in the fire area.

If your home address is in the evacuated area, visit https://eldoradocf.org/community-emergencies/ to apply.
