Nor Cal Bats showcased at Lake of the Sky Amphitheater

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. - Great Basin Institute (GBI) and the USDA Forest Service Lake Tahoe Basin Management Unit (LTBMU) invite community members and visitors to join them at the Taylor Creek Visitor Center for a presentation by "Nor Cal Bats" this Friday, August 18 from 7:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the beautiful Lake of the Sky Amphitheater near South Lake Tahoe.
This summer series evening program features one of the favorite presentations and offers a unique opportunity to get up close and personal with a few of Tahoe’s flying mammals.
NorCal Bats is a non-profit organization dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation, and release of bats throughout Northern California. They are committed to public education regarding the environmental benefits of bats and dispelling myths and misconceptions surrounding these misunderstood mammals.
