Free Farmers Market in South Lake Tahoe; Volunteers needed

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. - The El Dorado County Food Bank will be in South Lake Tahoe on Wednesday, August 25 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. The announcement is late as they weren't sure they could be able make it to town due to the Caldor Fire.
The food truck sets up in the parking lot of St. Theresa Catholic Church at 1041 Lyons Avenue in South Lake Tahoe from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. each fourth Wednesday. They bring fresh fruits and vegetables.
There is no information needed to get food.
Five to six volunteers are needed from 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Call the Food Bank at 530.621.9950 to sign up. People are also welcome to stop by as well - volunteers meet in the parking lot of the church.
