Washoe County Regional Animal Services seek persons of interest in alleged animal abuse case

Washoe County Regional Animal Services (WCRAS) is seeking information to help identify two individuals who are persons of interest in an animal cruelty investigation. The dog is described as an approximately 6-month-old German Shepherd, black and tan in color, wearing a pink harness. This occurred at the 7-Eleven parking lot located at 8995 Lemmon Drive, Reno on August 21, around 2:30 p.m.
The persons of interest were driving a mid-2000s, silver Mercedes sedan, with a California license plate. One subject is described as an adult male, with a light complexion, in his 20s or 30s, approximately 5’5" tall, with a medium build, dark long hair, and a dark beard. The second subject is described as an adult female, with a light complexion, in her 20s or 30s, approximately 5’5" tall, with a medium build and dark hair.
