KIRKWOOD, Calif. - Kirkwood Mountain Resort is holding a weekend of family entertainment with 'Desert Myth' by the Flynn Creek Circus under the big top Sept. 1-4.

Featuring wild stunts, hilarious comedy, and mind-blowing skills, 'Desert Myth' is an "acrobatic odyssey." A sudden sandstorm separates their nomads from their homes. Follow the lost as they journey through the desert looking for the oasis. The Tourist, the Cacti, the Wanderer, and the Sand Spirit are just some of the colorful characters you will meet along the way. An eclectic blend of multi-cultural folklore, this provocative tale speaks to a thirst for truth in dry land full of 'misguides'.

World-renowned acrobats from Ukraine, Canada, and the US will thrill audiences with this truly original, awe-inspiring visual roller coaster ride. Organizers say kids will remember it into adulthood and adults will quit their day jobs to follow their dreams.

'Desert Myth' is a memory-making event for the whole family. Beer, wine, and light concessions are available for purchase. Flynn Creek Circus is an all-human spectacle. Free parking for show attendees at the location.
