Two men hospitalized after they fought, allegedly stabbed each other

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. - Two South Lake Tahoe residents fought Saturday evening, with each getting stabbed and transported to Barton Hospital. South Lake Tahoe Police Department (SLTPD) responded to the wooded area near Kyburz Avenue and US50 near the Lake Tahoe Airport at about 5 p.m. on August 31.

SLTPD is investigating and there are not many details available at this time, but so far what is known is that one of the victims called 911. Both men were transported to Barton Hospital with undisclosed injuries, but SLTPD said they are stable at this time.

No arrests have been made at this time. SLTPD detectives are conducting interviews and collecting evidence from the scene.

The men involved are ages 38 and 49, according to SLTPD Sgt. Nick Carlquist.
