INCLINE VILLAGE, Nev. - The next Talks at Tahoe on the University of Nevada, Reno at Lake Tahoe campus will be held on September 6 with Meeting the Tides of Life Through the Practice of Poetry with Rosemerry Wahtola Trommer.
Poet laureate Rosemerry Wahtola Trommer writes a poem every single day guided by the question "What is the truest thing I can say right now?" This simple daily practice of honest presence has sustained her through the most devastating tragedy a parent can know—the death of a beloved child—and enabled her to grow to become a beacon of hope, compassion and resilience for thousands of readers.
Rosemerry will read selections from her new book, All the Honey, and join the audience in a conversation about how to meet life in all of its paradoxical facets.
The free event starts at 6 p.m. followed by a reception at 7 p.m. To reserve your spot, visit https://www.eventbrite.com/e/talks-at-tahoe-rosemerry-wahtola-trommer-tickets-696912472967?aff=oddtd....
