Barton Skilled Nursing residents return after Calder Fire evacuation

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. - The residents at the Barton Skilled Nursing facility in South Lake Tahoe returned home Monday after being evacuated due to the Caldor Fire.

The residents spent two weeks at Ormsby Post Acute Rehab in Carson City. They were transported to and from Barton on Lake Tahoe Unified School District buses and via Tahoe Douglas Fire ambulances.

A celebration took place as they returned to their home with smiles on their faces.
