COVID-19 cases for Lake Tahoe and El Dorado County - 8 new deaths this week

EL DORADO COUNTY, Calif. - Since Tuesday there have been eight more deaths of El Dorado County residents due to COVID, and 109 new cases reported.

Pollock Pines, Camino, Kyburz - 737 cases - +14 - The 14-day new case rate is 58 with 427 per 100,000 residents.
El Dorado Hills - 3123 cases - +18 - The 14-day new case rate is 157 with 369 per 100,000 residents.

Diamond Springs, El Dorado - 705 cases - +10 - The 14-day new case rate is 54 with 574 per 100,000 residents.
North County - 762 cases - +8 - The 14-day new case rate is 41 with 283 per 100,000 residents.
Greater Placerville - 2673 cases - +30 - The 14-day new case rate is 169 with 461 per 100,000 residents.
Cameron Park/Shingle Springs/Rescue - 2604 cases - +21 - The 14-day new case rate is 186 with 526 per 100,000 residents.
South County - 207 cases - +3 - The 14-day new case rate is 15 with 145 per 100,000 residents.
Lake Tahoe region - 3368 cases - +11 - The 14-day new case rate is 38 with 126 per 100,000 residents.

The active case count is 1,144 - (+4). 1,020 additional negative test results - 205 assumed recoveries (13,113).

To date, 130 El Dorado County residents have died from COVID-19. There were eight new deaths over the past two days. There were:

There are 21 (+0) hospitalized with 6 (+0) in the ICU. Of these patients, 16 are hospitalized at Marshall, 5 at Barton. Of the ICU patients, 1 are in Barton, 5 at Marshall in Placerville. There is one suspected case of COVID in the ICU at Barton.

Currently the State's website says there are 2 available ICU beds in the county, 2 at Barton Health in South Lake Tahoe, 0 at Marshall. Barton has said there are plenty of beds available even if the state's website doesn't show it.
