North Shore Housing Workshop rescheduled

Event Date:
October 7, 2024 - 6:00pm

The Tahoe Regional Planning Agency (TRPA) invites the public to be a part of a new affordable housing initiative, "Cultivating Community, Conserving the Basin." This next phase of the Tahoe Living program aims to make housing more accessible and equitable, while also improving the environment and climate resilience of the region.

How do I get involved? Join them at an upcoming North Shore community workshop on Monday, October 7 at 6 p.m. at the North Tahoe Event Center to learn more about the project, share your thoughts, and help us set goals to address some of Lake Tahoe’s most pressing issues.

Format: The workshop will be a fun World Cafe-style evening. A presentation will be followed by small group discussions at four stations. Groups travel through each station, adding on to others’ experiences and input.

Spanish translation services, activities for children, parking vouchers, and food by Lupita's restaurant will be provided. We look forward to seeing you there!

Register HERE.

If you can't make the workshop, TRPA would like to hear from you. These first workshops focus on setting goals and outcomes for "Cultivating Communities, Conserving the Basin." They created a survey version to get as much feedback as possible. The survey will be open until late October. Take SURVEY here.

The North Tahoe Event Center is located at 8318 N. Lake Blvd., Kings Beach, Calif.
